There are all sorts of different messages you can give yourself to help relieve shoulder pain. But not all massages are created equal. Some are better than others. So, I'm going to share with you my three favorite shoulder pain relief massages.
The Neck Massage
This is personally my favorite pain relief massage. And it's also one of the easiest to do. All you need is your hands.
To start, simply place your hands on either side of your neck and apply gentle pressure. Then, using your fingers, massage the muscles in a circular motion. You can also use your thumbs to massage the muscles in a back and forth motion.
The Shoulder Massage
This shoulder pain relief massage is similar to the neck massage, but you'll be focusing on your shoulder muscles instead of your neck muscles.
To start, place your hands on either side of your shoulder and apply gentle pressure. Then, using your fingers, massage the muscles in a circular motion. You can also use your thumbs to massage the muscles in a back and forth motion.
The Back Massage
This shoulder pain relief massage is a bit more difficult to do, but it's still easy once you get the hang of it.
To start, reach around and place your hands on your upper back. Then, using your fingers, massage the muscles in a circular motion. You can also use your thumbs to massage the muscles in a back-and-forth motion.
Once you've massaged all the muscles in your upper back, move down to your lower back and repeat the process.
