True North Schooner Outdoor Barrel Sauna 

This beautiful barrel sauna is handmade in Ontario, Canada, and built to withstand any weather. It's perfect for outdoor use in nature and comes in a variety of lengths.

You can add an optional 2' porch (which will reduce the interior length of the sauna). Different window options are also available, and you can choose between a wood stove or an electric heater.

The sauna comes as a kit that requires assembly.

Available Heater Types: You can choose a wood stove or an electric heater.

Available Wood Types: 

  • Red Cedar - Naturally resistant to rot, decay, and insects, making it a very durable choice.
  • White Cedar - Slightly stronger and almost as resistant to rot and decay as red cedar, and has a beautiful light-colored finish.
  • Pine Wood - Pine- Best value for cost sensitive buyers.

Specifications Of Our Standard Barrel:

  • Height 79" (200 cm)
  • Standard length is (included porch) 6′, 8′, 9′ & 10′ (183, 240, 270 and 300 cm)
  • Standard length porch 1′ (30 cm) or 2′ (60 cm)
  • 2 benches
  • The optional porch includes 2 premium design seats
  • Bargeboards
  • 3 peg Clothes hanger
  • Walls are a minimum of 1.55′ thick.

Note: While no saunas are 100% waterproof, certain measures can be taken to enhance their resistance to water. These steps include the application of two coats of semi-transparent deck stain, as well as applying silicone where the exterior walls intersect with the staves. These efforts can significantly improve your sauna’s ability to repel water.

Haven't hooked it up yet but for a 3k tub u use 5$ worth of packing materials 2 stainless supports for the front are broken. One of the 2 front step supports are missing. Let's hope it works

ITS AWESOME

I love this portable sauna! I set it up in my bedroom. So easy to use. Just turn it on and let it warm up for about 20 minutes then get in and enjoy. The infrared heat is wonderful. I ve been setting the temperature at 120°f and thats perfect for me. I believe max is 140° f. So glad I purchased.This fit my budget space and you can take it apart and fold it like a tent and it even has a carrying bag. We can take anywhere and it uses regular household current.

It takes at least two people to assemble ir and it can be taken apart and moved easily.

Mine arrived in two boxes. I was able to unpack it alone but it takes at least two people to snap it together a screwdriver is the only tool necessary. Mine had a little bit of cosmetic damage here and there but nothing that interfered with the assembly and operation of the sauna. It can also be easily disassembled if you need to move it.

It heats up very well!

The product works great. I would prefer to be able to stretch in the sauna so I learned I would prefer a larger one so I can move around more. I had to watch a Youtube video to understand how to set up vs. the pictures in the manual.
